So who uses our textures?

We have customers from many different industries using our products. Architectural Illustrators,
Technical Illustrators, Product Visualisation, VideoGames and TV/Movie Special Effects Studios.

What types of Textures do we have?

We have a range of textures and formats that we supply our products in. Plants and Trees typically
use an alpha clip map to remove the back grounds. Our Road Textures are available either as
straight forward Jpeg Packs, or more uniquely as a layered photoshop file that lets you create
a variety of road surfaces and line layouts. Wall Textures, Brick Textures, Tile Textures,
Stone Textures, Ground Textures and Grass Textures are available in small packs edited to be seamless
and ready to use straight away in your work. All surface Textures have matching bump maps too.

Included Packs

Beach Texture Pack – 10 Seamless Beach and Shingle Textures of various Beach types, all hand edited
to tile seamlessly. Each texture is complete with its own bump map. Can be used in any application
supporting imported textures. All textures are JPEG Format.

Brick Wall Texture Pack – 10 Seamless 1200 pixel square Brick Wall textures, all hand edited to
tile perfectly seamlessly

Car Park Texture Generator – The Car Park Texture generator .psd photoshop file from ambientLight
will enable you to create multilple combinations of car park surface, lines, drains etc. All elements
are separate and can be moved and rotated as required. This way you can make tiles for a whole car park
with lines traveling in different directions plus kerbs and corners.

Concrete Texture Pack – Seamless Photographic Textures of various concrete types, all hand edited
to tile seamlessly. Each texture is complete with its own bump map. Can be used in any application
supporting imported textures. All textures are JPEG Format.

Cotswold Stone Walls – Stone Walls from the Cotswold area in the UK. All textures are 1200 pixels
on their longest side, and tile seamlessly. Alphas and bumps inlcuded.

Domestic Carpet Texture Pack – 10 1200 pixel square carpet textures, all hand edited
to tile perfectly seamlessly.

Forest Floor Texture Pack – 10 Seamless 1200 pixel 24 Bit textures with matching bump maps.

Grass Texture Pack – Seamless Photographic Textures of various grass types, all hand edited
to tile seamlessly. Can be used in any application supporting imported jpeg textures.
All textures saved as high quality jpegs for maximum compatibility.

Mosaic Montage Tiles Collection – There are 34 Diffuse tile textures in this texture pack,
and 15 corresponding bump maps for realistic surfacing. Each colour set has 2 or more variations
including a plain tile colour with realistic subtle variations and a mosaic montage of various shades.
The bump map is also recommended for use as a gloss/specular map to limit reflections to the tile
areas only. The colours are all sampled from popular tile sets used in real world architectural projects.

Office Carpet Texture Pack – 10 1200 pixel square carpet textures, all hand edited to tile
perfectly seamlessly. Previews are shown at 100% zoom, actual textures are equivalent to
approx 1 square meter of flooring.

Perfect Lawns Texture Pack – 10 Seamless Grass and Lawn Textures in JPEG Format, plus 5 matching Bump Maps.
These textures are ideal for recreating sporting fields and pitches, as the images are primarily from
golf courses. There are striped variations of two of the textures as well as the base textures.
We have included the photoshop .psd stripes template so you can add stripes to the other grasses if you wish.

Road Texture Generator – The Road Texture generator .psd file from ambientLight will enable you to create
multilple combinations of road surface, lines, drains etc. These lines are based on the standard
UK road system but can be easily adapted to any other system by recolouring, resizing and rotating
as necessary. All elements are separate and can be moved as required. This way you can make tiles
for a single road or multiple carriageway by leaving out kerbs and adding additional lines.

Sky Panoramas Volume 1 – 20 Panoramic Fine Weather Skies at a 4096×2048 Pixel resolution,
seamless and ready to be applied to a skydome object in your scene. Each sky texture has two maps,
one with and one without a sun. This gives you the option of including the sun in the panoramic sky
image or placing a light in the approx position of the sun and fine tuning flare controls for your
light in your 3d application to mimic the sun size and flare options you require for your scene.
Using a light in the position of the sun will also cast shadows into your scenes as though from the
sun in the sky image.

Stone Paving Texture Pack – 10 Photographic 1200 pixel stone paving textures, all hand edited to tile
perfectly seamlessly. Each texture has its own bump and alpha maps where appropriate. All you need for
incredible photoreal stone surfaces for stunning images.

Stone Walls Texture Pack – 10 Photographic 1024 pixel square stone textures, all hand edited to tile
perfectly seamlessly. Each texture has its own bump map. All you need for incredible photoreal
stone surfaces for stunning images.

Wood Floor Texture Pack – 10 1200 pixel square wooden floor textures, all hand edited
to tile perfectly seamlessly. There are two floor styles, Herringbone and Parquet (square).
Plus five different woods, Beech, Maple, Oak, Cherry and Pine each in both styles, giving you 10
floors in total. There is one bumpmap for each floorstyle. These should be used with low bump
settings, so you get a slight groove at the joints. The bump map can also be used in the
reflectance channel if your application has one, to stop reflection in the floor joints.
